Amidst the dirt road,
I always thought u were there,
Yet I missed the turn.

I was always there to catch you,
especially when you needed most,
But I couldn't see you anymore,
And the pain in my heart won't leave me.

I know that I love you in my heart,
but my mind thinks otherwise,
Is it possible i was dreaming all this time,
And the reality wasn't even in my grasp.

I don't know what to do anymore,
And frankly I am losing my mind,
if a secret comes between someone,
it will be the end.

From afar I watched you,
expecting you to turn your head to me,
but you didn't,
And left me just to flee.

Secrets are never supposed to be involved,
yet there are things I don't know,
but prying from you is unlikely,
since you are how you are.

The truth is,
I am waiting for you,
I have confessed thousands of times,
yet I only got a laugh or a thanks.

Something is falling apart,
like buildings being torn down,
the heart feels what the mind thinks,
and somehow, I am drifting away.

Laugh, cry, smile or frown,
I don't know what to do with them,
since I could only imagine things,
that might not come true.

This might not be music,
nor poetry,
It is just me,
saying this words to you.
