♣Think You Know Me?♣
Saturday, September 4, 2010 || 03:33 Seems that it is time where I come back around here right? It has been quite a long while since I actually wrote anything here, seeing that most of my friends said this is kinda 'girlish'. Well now I want to make this place totally open to 'emo' feelings. I am going to enjoy writing this. Now, to begin, half a year of Poly life has passed, and I must say I am slightly disappointed in myself. It is harder to actually pass this than expected, and my first brother, one who calls himself Rplayer[and yeah I am not going to call out everyone's name from now on], is telling me that he will reward me by going with me at a place called 'Chocolate Heaven' or something of that sort. And I must say I am compelled to do it. But I would rather have the whole family follow me to a nice quiet place and just enjoy the day together. That is all I always wanted for this life. My exams have passed, though I have on paper left. I fear I won't be doing well for maths, as anticipated, but I did well enough for Engineering Mechanics. I am confident I can pass, and now I just want to aim for one final hurdle in this part of the semester. Once I have done that, I can finally enjoy life until the end of the holidays, and concentrate fully on getting marks I have been aiming for. Hari Raya is coming, and finally after three weeks of fasting, we can end it with a good smile. I am going to enjoy this year. I just have a good feeling this year for some reason. Even amidst the animosity throughout the family, I have a good feeling we can do what we aim to do. And I can't wait to go out with all my friends. I want to finally enjoy their company, and I have finally found a group I can stay throughout. Tyler, you know you are one of the best brother I can find who isn't the same blood. Know that I have your back no matter what life I go through. Now, a side note. I have a very interesting hobby I want to accomplish. My second brother, Wan Oligarchy, found interesting stuffs that by far I could never believe. Suddenly I feel so compelled to go around Singapore to find sites where it would have meaning to. This, by far, is the most interesting fact I have seen so far, as done by Wan Oligarchy. ![]() ![]() Yes, it is the Merlion, but not the ones we see. As Wan Oligarchy found out, this are the five sanctioned Merlions in Singapore. 1) Sentosa (The big ones with laser blasting out of its eyes around 8pm) 2) The mother Merlion at the Merlion Park 3) The baby Merlion at the Merlion Park 4) Another at the Tourism Court and lastly 5) One 3m Merlion at Mount Faber. Thus, these Two Merlions are of unknown origins. Are they real, hidden among the island just for the sake of showing? Or is there a deeper meaning here, showing someone actually sculptured these Merlions without the Singapore Tourism Board knowing? Whatever it was, my brother has inspired me to find more National Treasures of Singapore, and I plan to. Tyler, Santos, Kong, Friday, care to join? Labels: Life |
